| You can set your email account to Shielded in order to block spam. All new email accounts are set to Shielded by default. |
| Go to AlaWeb's main page ( www.alaweb.com ) Click on Customer Info Click on Mailboxes Click on the red 'here' to log into the Mailbox Administration Page This will bring up a login box Type in your main username and password Click on List Existing Vanity Mailboxes On the right, you should see the shielding option set for each account Click Shielded then Set |
| It will take a few minutes to make the change to the account. It may take a few hours before you start seeing a difference in the amount of spam that you receive. |
| To unshield your email account, follow the steps above but select Unshielded instead of Shielded and click Set |
