In the mid 1980's, I had the opportunity to live on the Greek island of Crete for a year and a half. I was fascinated by the people and came to love them, their customs, and wonderful scenery. I traveled the island of Crete extensively, as well as Athens and some of the other islands. I always took photographs. About two years ago, I decided to use my photographs and memories in my paintings. I have completed two series of Greek paintings, nine in all. These paintings have been successful for me and have sold in public and private collections.

Recently, through the graciousness of Stelios Jackson of London, some of my work has been displayed on a few Greek web sites. The comments have been so favorable that Greek Series III is in progress.
