The O'Neal Agency, Inc. was opened in 1956 when Robert C.
O'Neal wanted to expand and invest in more than the mule trade business that his father,
Clanton Simms O'Neal, had begun. Robert O'Neal was also going to have the help of his
sons, as once did his father. Bond O'Neal, the eldest son, joined the Agency in 1962 after
attending Auburn University and working in Troy, Alabama for three years. Lester O'Neal,
the youngest son, joined his father and brother at the Agency in 1971 after graduating
from Troy State University in 1970. Lester had also served four years in the Marine Corps,
which included two tours in Vietnam, before going to work for the family business. Bob
O'Neal, Bond's son, came to work for the Agency in 1991 after graduating from Auburn
University. Mike O'Neal, Lester's son, while employed at the Agency, is also attending
Lurleen B. Wallace College. One of the strongest attributes of the O'Neal Agency is our
Customer Service Staff. Joan Norris, office manager, has been with the company for
twenty-eight years. Joan can help you with all of your personal automobile and homeowners
needs. Also included in our Customer Service Staff is Pam Pate. Pam has been with the
Agency for four years.
