obtained by contacting Rik, KU4PY or order your shirt online here. Get one quickly, as the supply is
rapidly dwindling! Test gear, make contacts, eat food, have a good time!

Wiely, KE4LTT, will be hosting the welcome tent again this year and will have a digipeater, an APRS station, and other neat things to show everyone who comes out.  We are going to have two primary radio stations -- CW, captained by yours truly, and phone, captained by Scott (W4SPA) and Jim (KR4JY).  Rik, KU4PY, will oversee our third station, the “Get-on-the-Air” (GOTA) setup that’s intended for those who aren’t able to do much operating from home, and Novices, Technicians, and unlicensed folks who would like to try their hand on HF.  Rik also will be conducting slow-scan TV, digital, and satellite operations throughout the weekend.  Phil (K4OZN) is the generator guru again this year.  Carl (KG4AIC) will have his fast-scan TV setup in operation and will be keeping fuel in the generators, food on the table, and doing all those other myriad tasks to ensure a successful operation.  There also may be balloonists of one kind or another demonstrating their capabilities related to ham radio, conditions permitting.

While our intent is to maximize points in the Field Day contest, the real objective is to set up our gear and operate as we would in an emergency situation.  Related to that is the goal of getting as many folks as we possibly can to experience Field Day and join in the camaraderie.  So, plan on coming out . . . you’ll have a great time!  See you there!
