Greetings and Salutations.
If you're visiting this it
must mean that you have an interest in learning a little bit more about me. The
question is....WHERE to start. Suppose maybe a little background of where I'm
from is a good start. So here I go. I came from my mommies tummy!!!!!!
*Snicker* OK OK OK. So I have an unusual sense of humour.
Now to get down to business.
I was born on a Tuesday on the 21st of March. You can forget about getting the
year unless if you ask. Being that I was born on the Spring/Vernal Equinox it
makes it my favorite time of year. And for anyone who says that Spring starts
on the 20th is full of IT!!!! I'm also a cusper. I have both Aries and Pisces
traits. If that’s a good thing or not, I don’t know. And well, things get a bit
confusing when one adds in the Rat in me.
Hmmmm decision decision. Do
I want to do a short version of were I’ve been or a play by play action?
Suppose I’ll start with my place of birth. Glendale, California. Yes that does
make me a “Valley Girl” if you insist. I prefer that I’m a desert rat over a
“Valley Girl”. I spent the first part of my youth in Canyon Country,
California. We moved to Colorado in 1980. I LOATHED moving here. My parents
took me away from my best friend. And of course all H E double hockey sticks
broke out after that. I spent 7 awful years here with the exception of my
education. That was awesome!!!! :o) Mom and I went back to Cali. I learned a
BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG lesson. One truly can’t go
back home. After 9 years I needed a change. By this time mom had already made
several moves and ended up in Alabama of all places. What did I do? I followed
her. Was that a smart move??? Well, IF you knew me at the time, I’d have to say
yes. I joined the military right after I went to Alabama in December of 1996.
As to where I went while there, if you don’t already know, I’d have to kill
you! (just kidding). Basic was at Fort Lost in the woods, Misery (Ft Leonard
Wood, MO). AIT (Advanced Individual Training) was 8 long months in El Paso at
Fort UnBlissful. Korea was my 1st duty station and THAT was hell.
And after that I went back to El Paso. So I spent 3 years in the military and
am now currently in Colorado. Ok now that I’m grown up, I have a different
view. Not to mention last year I let go of many angers that were tied to living
here before. :o) See, I told you I grew up!!! :o)
As for what I do now, if you
don’t already know, I wam an assistant manager at a bagel shop. This was a new
experience for me because I’ve never been in a leadership position before. I
liked it, granted I no longer am there. My personality conflicted within that
environment. So now I’ll be working an 8-5 M-F job with an hour lunch break and
not knowing what to do with myself in that time. I’ve also enrolled for school
at ITT Tech for the Computer Networking Systems course that will take me 2
years to complete.
That’s just a little bit
about me. It’s a start.
